Frequently Asked Questions

1. If I’ve never exercised before, can I still do your program?

YES! This is a periodized program so everyone starts where they are and progresses from there. Progression is based on skill acquisition, not length in the program.

2. How do I sign up for your program?
Great question! We have two options: Zoom group training or private in-home training. Zoom group training, check out the current schedule online and find a day/time that works for you. If you’re new to the program, be sure to email me the two registration forms so I have background information on your health and fitness level. If you’re interested in the private in-home training, send me an email and we’ll figure out a plan together.
3. How does your program work?
My program is designed to progress over time based on your skill level. We change variables such as plane of motion, speed of movement, body position, load position, interval timing, and load in order to properly strengthen your body.
4. Do I need to have my own exercise equipment?
You don’t have to, but it’s recommended. You can use anything that has weight to create resistance. I’m a big proponent of sandbags and kettlebells. If we train in your home, I’ll either bring equipment to you or recommend a few great pieces for you to keep on hand.
5. Do we have to meet at the same time every week? What if my schedule changes?
As long as we can find a day/time that works for both of our schedules, we can mix and match days/times each week. Flexibility is key to finding a program that works with your lifestyle.
